Build capability
We guide your people through the work, building capability that stays with your team.
The customer’s agent plans the task and calls your tools. Content contributes at procedure retrieval and verification; tool discovery, permission checks, and API execution need separate owners.
Follow the processEstablish a test destination, a supported API tool, and an account with known permissions. Keep credentials in the customer’s approved secret store; documentation should describe required inputs without containing their values.
Notify Larkspur Freight’s billing chat channel whenever an invoice sync fails.
The customer’s agent decides that a webhook can deliver the requested notification.
The customer chooses the model and planning behavior. Your team can expose a clear task, but cannot prescribe the agent’s entire plan.
The agent lists the tools exposed by your MCP server.
Engineering maintains tool names, descriptions, input schemas, and access to the API. Discovery is a separate integration responsibility.
The agent reads the ordered webhook setup task.
State the Admin-role requirement, event choice, destination requirements, signing configuration, and expected creation result.
The agent checks the account and role before attempting creation.
Account records establish whether this caller can create webhooks. A procedure describing the Admin role does not grant it.
The agent supplies the documented inputs to the supported API tool.
The API validates the request and records the webhook. Return actionable errors rather than treating a failed call as a completed setup.
The agent sends the test event and checks the destination result.
Specify the expected event and how to identify successful delivery. Include the route to troubleshooting if signing or delivery fails.
This framework provides a practical baseline shaped by experience. Every organization operates under distinct technical and operational realities that require tailored design and governance. While you can adapt these measures independently, we frequently partner with teams to customize governance, integrations, and rollout. Performance outcomes will naturally vary.
Keep prerequisites, parameters, ordered steps, and test results in one maintained task. The signing requirement must travel with the creation steps when the agent retrieves them.
Test the complete path: procedure selection, prerequisite checks, creation, and observed receipt. Retain separate evidence for tool-call validity and task completion.
If permissions are missing, stop and ask the customer’s administrator. If delivery fails, preserve the failure details and keep the task open. Repeated creation attempts can make duplicate webhooks; recovery must check existing state.
We can guide your team, work alongside it, or deliver the work for you. Combine these approaches as your needs and capacity change.
